Keiichi and the goddesses enter Sayoko's castle and encounter its many perils and challenges that gradually separate them from each other.

Summary

Keiichi, Urd, and Skuld quickly discover that the castle floor is equipped with floor traps, and Belldandy wonders how Sayoko was so desperate to become the campus queen that she'd join hands with Mara. She is unaware that they're being monitored by cameras installed around the castle, and in her throne room, Sayoko watches them from a large TV and orders everyone to laugh at Belldandy. Sayoko is hoping that some of them will make it past the entrance, and the same goes for Mara, who has disguised herself with a ninja outfit.

Keiichi and the goddesses enter a long hallway through a pair of doors that close behind them. Immediately, they're attacked by members of the Chemistry Club who throw grenades at them. Belldandy and Holy Bell protect everyone from harm, while Skuld pulls out a bunch of explosives she'd been keeping in her clothes and responds to the Chemistry Club in kind. While she gets to blowing them up, Urd convinces Belldandy to leave her be and continue.

Upon climbing a flight of stairs, Keiichi, Belldandy, and Urd encounter a fighting ring called the Battlefield, and Urd is whisked away by fighters for a costume change while Keiichi is made to sit down. Soon, the fighting event begins with the announcer introducing two contestants: Urd the Nightingale, dressed as a nurse, and Froghorn Leghorn, a man dressed as a chicken. Keiichi discovers that he will be controlling Urd's movements with an arcade console while Urd's opponent is being controlled by Johji Kawabata, the president of the Arcade Gamer's Club.

Urd is eager to fight, but Keiichi makes her flounder about while he learns the controls until he makes her do a strong combo against Leghorn. Kawabata is impressed with Keiichi's skill and believes he is no beginner, but it turns out Keiichi is a beginner. Nonetheless, Kawabata retaliates by having Leghorn body-slam Urd while Keiichi doesn't know how to make Urd turn and face her opponent. However, just before Leghorn can do a finishing move, Urd gets up and zaps him with lightning, as that body slam had inadvertently damaged the receiver on her costume that controlled her actions. Urd tells Keiichi and Belldandy to keep going without her while she stays to beat everyone else up.

Keiichi and Belldandy walk through a large corridor when Belldandy notes that this entire room is made up of Sayoko's pure mind force, and she tells Keiichi that she had no idea Sayoko was this obsessed with being the campus queen. Keiichi assumes Belldandy thinks she should've forfeited her title, but Belldandy says that doing so would've only disappointed Sayoko. As she says, Sayoko would rather win the title through her own merits than by default; that is the heart of Sayoko's personality, and it's the one thing Belldandy likes most about her. Keiichi agrees with Belldandy, though he thinks that also happens to be the worst part of Sayoko's personality.

Soon, they encounter three women belonging to the Tea Club, who spend their time enjoying rare tea blends and endlessly chatting. They set a challenge for the two of them: if they can correctly identify all their tea blends, they may proceed past them. Keiichi is eager to try, but Belldandy takes up the challenge, being an expert on tea blends. Keiichi is disheartened and thinks he isn't useful for anything, but Belldandy tells him that when the time comes, he will help her. Belldandy proceeds to taste several tea blends and correctly identifies all of them when she suddenly falls asleep, Keiichi accusing the Tea Club of drugging her.

The three ladies grab Belldandy and hurry off through the halls, with Keiichi unable to pursue them. He then hears Belldandy seemingly calling to him, but he only comes across a bunch of men who are dressed up as Belldandy, which makes him freak out!
