Demon Urd loses control and seeks Goddess Urd's "real" body, and Goddess Urd plans destroy Demon Urd to protect her sisters, even if it costs her own life.
Summary
Demon Urd thrashes the arcade hideout out of the pain she is feeling internally. Mara tries to calm her down, but she blows a hole in the arcade's ceiling and flies away, looking for her "real" body.
At the Temple, Goddess Urd explains to Keiichi that, as identical as Demon Urd may look, her body is only a copy and can't handle the power of the spells she was using. Thus, Demon Urd needs her body, and she'll be coming for it soon enough. Belldandy tries to warn Goddess Urd about something, but yet again the protection program prevents her from speaking the words. Goddess Urd guesses at what Belldandy is trying to say (which Belldandy confirms by nodding and shaking her head): that Demon Urd will run wild and release enough energy to destroy the world, and that she'll self-destruct even if she obtains a real body; and if Demon Urd dies, she will as well.
Mara suddenly appears at their front door with a ragged look. She tells them that Demon Urd has gone completely out of control and that her body won't last more than a few hours with how she's behaving. She hands them the personality separation precipitator she used to separate Urd earlier so that they can recombine Urd, but when Skuld warns Goddess Urd to not harm Demon Urd, she has disappeared, already off to search for her. Immediately, Skuld asks Mara to create another body clone of Urd.
Goddess Urd confronts Demon Urd in the skies above Nekomi and is immediately attacked by her. Her plan is to make Demon Urd use enough energy to burn herself out and self-destruct, but Demon Urd completely overpowers her and sends her careening to the ground below. Belldandy, Skuld, and Keiichi quickly arrive on the scene via motorcycle, and Belldandy saves Goddess Urd from crashing into the ground with magic.
Demon Urd sees Goddess Urd on the ground taunting her, and she immediately rushes down to face her. However, this Urd was another body clone that Skuld modified into a cage trap for Demon Urd, and she falls right into it. With the personality separation precipitator in her hands, Belldandy tells Goddess Urd that it's time for her to reunite with her other half, but Goddess Urd refuses to do so, saying that Demon Urd tried to kill them and that she doesn't want that "horrendous monster" inside her again. Belldandy tells her that, even as her personal demon manifested, Demon Urd was unwilling to use the most powerful spells to destroy them because deep down, she was still her sister. Goddess Urd accepts Belldandy's words and chooses to reunite with her other half.
After Urd returns to normal, she gets into an argument with Skuld because she is unwilling to pay Skuld back for what she did earlier by simply letting her watch TV with her. As the two of them get into another fight, Keiichi and Belldandy enjoy watermelon outside, and Keiichi remarks he'd have never thought he'd find the sound of their squabbling relaxing.
