Mara summons a tiny ninja named Kodama and orders her to infiltrate the Temple and sow confusion and chaos for the goddesses.
Summary
At a run-down video game arcade, Mara, believing that Ninja Masters are the strongest warriors on Earth after watching a ninja movie, summons a miniature ninja woman named Kodama to sow discord for the goddesses, though she's slightly annoyed at how many things she needs to pack before she can get going.
At the Temple, Kodama uses speed to outmaneuver Banpei and swiftly sever the cords in the front of his throat, rendering him inert. Inside, she sneaks into the rafters and spies on Urd as she's watching a Ninja TV show, believing the ninja on the screen to be her "master" and that she must watch this show again tommorow. Kodama then sneaks over to Skuld's room while she's in the middle of working on a "Mini-Banpei" to guard the inside of the Temple. Mini-Banpei detects Kodama and shoots a small missile into the ceiling. Kodama evades the attack, but the missile explodes and angers Urd, who goes over to Skuld's room to complain, and the two get into a fight. Kodama writes down some notes, believing that Urd is addicted to drugs while Skuld is addicted to making "thing-a-ma-jigs".
Belldandy wonders what Urd and Skuld are fighting about this time, but Keiichi suggests it's their way of bonding. As he works with his computer he fished from the dumpster, Belldandy questions what it was doing there and if its "master" is worried about it. Keiichi tells her that it was probably thrown out because it's obsolete, but Belldandy says that if the computer is here, then it must've been meant to live with them and that it must be happy. Keiichi reluctantly agrees when a nearby printer jams. Both of them reach over to fix it and they accidentally hold hands. At that moment, they lean closer to kiss each other, but they're interrupted by a random Skuld bomb that enters their room from outside and explodes in Keiichi's face. Kodama writes another note stating that Keiichi and Belldandy's romance is at a kindergarten level.
Kodama makes her next move by disguising herself as a miniature Skuld and Urd and trashing both goddesses' belongings to get them to fight again. Next, she changes to human size and sneaks into the futon in Keiichi's room. She suddenly greets him while wearing lingerie and uses a hypnosis spell to make him hop in with her, but she only gets him to take his shirt off before he breaks the hypnosis.
Belldandy then enters the room with tea, and Kodama brashly claims that Keiichi has abandoned after succumbing to the desires of the flesh. Panicked, Belldandy asks Keiichi if it's true, but as soon as Keiichi says it's a lie, she calms down. As she explains to Kodama, ever since she came to live with Keiichi, she decided to always believe what he said as long as it wasn't "farewell".
Kodama reverts to her normal size and says she will perish if she returns to her master after failing her mission. Keiichi immediately guesses that her master is Mara, and realizing that he knows too much, Kodama suddenly takes out a bomb to kill herself with. Suddenly, Belldandy rushes forward and absorbs the bomb's blast within a shield she projects, and with teary eyes, she commands her as a first-class goddess to not throw away her life.
Kodama finds herself obeying Belldandy's command, but being a Ninja Master who is supposed to live and die in darkness, she asks her what her purpose in life is. Belldandy tells her that maybe she has been destined to live with them!
Meanwhile, Urd and Skuld's catfight abruptly comes to an end as they wonder why there were fighting in the first place, and Mara eagerly awaits Kodama's return, unaware of what happened to her.
