Skuld builds a bug-catching machine, but it will only work if the goddesses can eliminate a black hole that originated from within Keiichi.

Summary

As bugs continue wreaking havoc around the temple, Skuld reiterates she and her sisters are causing a singularity that's attracting the bugs to Earth, and the only real way to get rid of them is to return to heaven. Urd doesn't want to leave, but while Belldandy thinks about it, they have to rescue Keiichi in his room after he becomes magnetic. After he recovers later, Belldandy tells him that she's going to return home, but promises to come back as soon as the issue with the bugs is resolved.

Belldandy, Urd, and Skuld leave through a mirror, television screen, and the reflection of water in the bathtub respectively, but the next moment, he finds out that Skuld is unable to move through water and Belldandy wins up in the bathroom through the mirror. Not only that, but Urd got herself stuck inside the television, though she is too embarrassed to admit it. Keiichi, however, is glad that he wasn't separated from Belldandy after all.

Determined to get rid of the bugs, Skuld quickly draws blueprints and constructs a small bug-catching device she calls "Ms. Paku-Paku Bug Man". She presses a button to activate it, but it unexpectedly doesn't work. Skuld realizes that her machine is unable to work because of nearby neutrinos, which are coming from Keiichi; it turns out the Goddesses aren't the source of the singularity, but it's coming from inside Keiichi.

As Belldandy explains, the heavenly world is made up of many higher dimensions that humans like Keiichi can't comprehend, and for goddesses like herself to even be seen by him, they must constantly recreate their atomic structure to produce a visible, three-dimensional form. Normally, the energy involved in this process is safely discharged, but instead, it was attracted by Keiichi and built up inside him to the point where it created a stabilized black hole. To get rid of the black hole, Skuld calculates that it's rotating on an inclined axis, and she plans to infuse more energy into it to make it break its orbit and allow them to seize it from inside Keiichi. As for infusing the energy, she has constructed the massive "Super Energy Infusion Machine Mark One".

Skuld turns the machine on, but even all the energy available in the temple isn't enough for it to produce the required output. While she keeps trying to get more power, Belldandy turns a corner and collapses. Keiichi finds her and believes that she must have voluntarily stopped regenerating her form and ceased feeding the black hole, and he panics as she seemingly begins phasing out.

Reluctantly, Skuld goes to Urd—who's watching TV inside of a TV—for help, and she agrees to uses a lightning spell to give her machine a supercharge. The plan works, and the black hole inside Keiichi disappears. Belldandy wakes up in Keiichi's arms, and he is so glad that he didn't lose her. However, Belldandy tells him he didn't need to worry because, even if she did stop regenerating, she would only disappear for a few moments.

Regardless, without any neutrinos interfering with the Skuld bug catcher, it can begin working as intended, but it can only catch bugs one at a time. While the work slowly goes by, Keiichi wonders what they're going to do with all the junk that Skuld built, and Skuld decides that she's going to stay on Earth since she has no reason to return to heaven.
