Belldandy falls ill right after Urd and Skuld temporarily return to Heaven, and Keiichi's accidentally turns himself into a woman while testing out Urd's medicine!
Summary
Keiichi comments on how cold it is while he and Belldandy are at Nekomi Tech. Belldandy puts a scarf over him that immediately warms him up, making him wonder if it's powered by her feelings for him. When they arrive home, Skuld tells them that she learned a new power: clean lettering on the word "Baka" that she slapped on Urd's face. While Belldandy tries to stop them from getting into another fight, Keiichi realizes that he and Belldandy haven't been alone together for a long time, something that makes him feel like they're destined to be separated.
While he, Belldandy, and Skuld are having tea, Urd answers the telephone and finds out the Almighty is calling again. She rejoins the other and tells Keiichi to record her favorite TV show, as the Almighty has informed her that Yggdrasil is back online and that she was been ordered back to Heaven to take a remedial course to get her goddess license back. While Belldandy is happy for her sister, Urd isn't looking forward to it because it's going to be boring, but she tells Skuld that she also needs to go back because the Almighty wants her to obtain an Earth training license while she continues living here.
As Skuld reluctantly agrees to go with Urd, Keiichi realizes that, suddenly, he and Belldandy will be alone! However, just before she leaves through the bathtub, Skuld warns Keiichi that she has set Banpei in a special attack mode if he tries putting his hands on her sister. Conversely, just before Urd leaves through the TV, she asks him to try and get closer to Belldandy, otherwise, she'll strike him with lightning.
Idly watching TV and drinking tea with Belldandy, Keiichi is unable to bring up any conversation with her. He abruptly decides to be direct and tries telling her how he feels, but he cowers when he sees Banpei staring at him nearby. Later at night, Keiichi is unable to sleep and believes that it's the thought of Belldandy keeping him awake. Of course, in his current mental confusion, he couldn't have figured that his insomnia was actually caused by drinking twenty cups of tea.
The next day at Nekomi Tech, Megumi discusses her softball team with a teammeate when Keiichi suddenly approaches her, asking to stay over at her place for the night. Megumi decides against it but sits down to listen to his problem with Belldandy. She figures that Keiichi is still a virgin and teases him before suggesting that he make his move on Belldandy, as she would expect as much if she were a "normal" girl.
Belldandy sits idly on Keiichi's motorcycle while waiting for him, but she tells herself she needs to "hold out" until Urd returns in two days. Keiichi meets her and notices her red face, but she suddenly falls into his arms. He assumes that she's fallen for him, but she slips through his hands and hits the ground from dizziness.
By the time they return to the Temple, Belldandy has gotten a bad fever, but the best Keiichi can do for her is to make her lie down, as Earth medicine won't work on her and no doctor could do anything for her. Without Urd around, Keiichi does the next best thing and goes to her room to take a look at her medicine. Unfortunately, all of the containers are labeled with strange symbols that Keiichi can't make any sense of, but he figures none of them would be poisonous. He swallows a few of them to test their effects, but he accidentally turns himself into a woman with long hair and breasts (though he remains a man "down there" after checking), and by the end, he couldn't find any useful medicine for Belldandy. He confides to Belldandy that his feelings for her alone are useless, but Belldandy tells him that they do comfort her.
Keiichi gets to the phone and attempts to call Heaven again. After several tries, he manages to get through to the Goddess Technical Helpline, where Urd is working the switchboard. He tells her what happened with Belldandy, and Urd believes that she is suffering a reaction from using that powerful spell against Mara's ninja clan with only a Moon bracelet for power. She then gives him instructions for a cure for Belldandy's illness, identifying them by their strange labels. Keiichi mentions how he became a woman after taking some himself, and she tells him that he can't just pop them like wasabi peas since occult knowledge is "obviously" required.
Keiichi rushes off to make the cure and Urd hangs up, amazed at how Keiichi may be the first person to deliberately call Heaven and actually get through. Skuld approaches and asks who she was talking to, but to her annoyance, Urd won't say. Meanwhile, Keiichi produces a pill for Belldandy to swallow with water, but as she's passed out, he has to deliver it mouth-to-mouth. A holy light envelops both of them to signal that Belldandy will be okay, but Banpei ambushes Keiichi from behind with his special attack.
The next day, Belldandy wakes up to complete chaos, as Skuld accuses Keiichi (who has the word "Prevert" stamped on his face) of having put his hands on Belldandy, while Urd is annoyed that Keiichi's new breasts are larger than hers.
