The Queen unexpectedly finds herself racing not against Megumi's KSR, but against Keiichi and Belldandy's sidecar-equipped motorcycle.

Summary

While waiting for Megumi to arrive at their designated spot, the Queen daydreams about a poem she speaks in her head. Megumi approaches her from behind and awkwardly stares at her while she's standing in a trance; she eventually tells Megumi to cut it out.

The Queen reminds Megumi that she came to tell her the secret of why she can't win and asks why she brought Keiichi and Belldandy, whom she mistakenly thinks are her parents. Megumi tells her that doesn't make a difference and that she'll tell her the secret once the race is over, though she mentions she probably won't even need to say it out loud.

To the Queen's surprise, she isn't going to be racing Megumi and her KSR, but Keiichi and Belldandy in their sidecar-equipped motorcycle. The Queen can hardly believe they're serious and is about to leave when Belldandy thanks her for the opportunity to race and says she'll do her very best, which immediately makes her change her mind. Megumi starts the race—which ends at the parking lot of the satellite campus—with a coin toss, and the Queen takes an early lead ahead of the slower Beemer.

As the Queen turns through a sharp bend in the road, she is startled to see Keiichi and Belldandy not slowing down to take the turn, but to her shock, Belldandy stands up out of the sidecar and leans heavily to the left to keep the bike balanced as Keiichi makes the turn. The Queen is amazed to see how those two can be so calm and even appear as though they were dancing despite pushing their bike to its limit, and the next moment, she lets them overtake her. However, she got distracted from her next gear shift down the mountain and is about the collide with the guardrail when Holy Bell suddenly appears and readjusts her bike to prevent her from crashing.

Keiichi and Belldandy stop racing and catch up to the Queen to check if she's okay, and Megumi arrives as well. The Queen decides to quit the race then and there. She finally realizes the reason she couldn't win: she was only making her bike give everything it had, not herself, and that she didn't stand a chance when Megumi was giving her all. Megumi is happy that the Queen finally understood and then directs her to Yamaha's loose wheel chain, low brake fluid, and clutch, saying that if she looked after her bike, her bike will look after her. The Queen pats her bike, asking if it'll let her ride it again with what she knows now. Belldandy tells Keiichi that she thinks motorcycles are wonderful.

The next moment, the Queen decides to forfeit her title and give her helmet (her "crown") to Megumi, the person who beat her and whom she declares to be the new queen, but Megumi doesn't want it and begs Keiichi for help.
