While still stuck in a child's body, Urd meets and befriends a young boy named Shohei Yoshida.
Summary
Keiichi, Skuld, and mini-Belldandy return to the Temple with the moon rock to use it on Urd, but to her frustration, it only makes her slightly larger. Belldandy says that most of the stone's power has already been used on Skuld because there was flaw in its production.
Keiichi gets some kid-sized clothes from the Salvation Army and has Urd try them on. After complimenting herself, Urd goes out by herself, but in the middle of the neighborhood she gets dizzy from a lack of energy and falls to her knees. A young boy notices her and immediately gets a crush on the her as he approaches.
After buying her some saké at a local store, they sit down on a bench and Urd regains some energy from drinking. The boy then pulls out a video game on his TurboExpress and lets Urd have a go at it. Being the system operator for the highly-advanced Yggdrasil, Urd has no problem completely finishing the game and the subsequent ones he pulls out, all the while he feels his heart pounding with her presence. With the sun setting, the boy tells her his name: Shohei Yoshida, and the two part ways with a promise to meet again tomorrow. When Urd returns home, the others are still working on a solution to her problem, but she isn't too worried about it, as she finds being a kid is more interesting than she thought.
The next day, Shohei meets Urd with a new video game, but Urd takes his hand and brings him along so they can do something different, and Shohei realizes that Urd had placed a spell on her, because since they met his heart "never stopped singing".
Urd brings Shohei to a building under construction and says that the two of them will climb it. Shohei is worried about getting hurt or caught, but Urd insists that life is best lived with a little edge. After evading some construction workers, they come to a steel beam which they need to cross to continue. Shohei doesn't want to do something so dangerous, but Urd tells him that if he would die if he falls, then he won't die if he doesn't fall. Shohei builds up the courage and manages to cross the beam to get to their final destination, a spot with a great view of Nekomi.
After they leave the site, Shohei asks Urd where she lives, but Urd says she can't tell him, otherwise the "spell" would wear off and they'd never see each other again. They part ways after Urd kisses him on the cheek, and when she returns home at night, Keiichi tells her that he figured out the issue with the moon rock (he had to melt it and then let it re-solidify) and it can now change her back to normal. However, Urd wants to wait until tomorrow before using the rock, secretly wanting to see Shohei one last time.
On the roof of the Temple, Urd spots Shohei as, as he followed her home. Mini-Belldandy asks if she fell in love with that boy, but Urd says that she was only "killing time" and changes her mind, asking Keiichi to hand her the stone. When Urd returns to her adult size, she greets Shohei outside the Temple and tells him that her "sister" is gone but left a message for him, thanking him for their time together, and a kiss on the forehead.
At that moment, Shohei realizes that the spell Urd had put him under was gone, and that he'd never see her again no matter how long he waited.
